Our Story
Born from a
love of real
ingredients
Mamamia Pizza Kitchen started with a simple conviction: that the best pizza doesn't need shortcuts. It needs time — for the dough to ferment slowly, for the sauce to reduce gently, and for the oven to get properly hot.
Located on Boston Avenue in San Diego's North Park, we opened our doors to serve neighbors who wanted a place that felt like home. Every pie leaves our brick oven in under three minutes, carrying the char and smoke that only real wood fire can produce.
We source our flour from local millers, our olive oil from a single estate in Tuscany, and our mozzarella is pulled fresh three times a week. It's not fancy — it's just honest food, made the way it should be.
